National Association of Women in Construction Scholarship
The local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) provides scholarship assistance to students who are enrolled in the Construction Technologies Programs at Central Piedmont Community College. The NAWIC Scholarship will pay $500 towards tuition, books and required fees for one student annually in both the Construction Technologies Associate Degree Program and the Crowder Construction Institute Certificate Program.
To be considered for the NAWIC Scholarship, one must:
- Be a currently enrolled student in the Construction Technologies Associate Degree Program or Crowder Construction Institute Certificate Program with a 3.0 grade point average, and
- Have financial need
Preference will be given to women students, and a secondary preference will be given to students currently enrolled in the Construction Technologies Program.
Recipients of the NAWIC Scholarship will be given the opportunity to attend NAWIC meetings and will be strongly encouraged to meet with NAWIC representatives.
