American Gas Association Scholarship

The American Gas Association Scholarship is awarded in the total amount of $3,000 which will be allocated in $1,000 award amounts for the recipient’s first spring, second fall, and second spring semesters.

The American Gas Association Scholarship is available to students who:

  • are enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a two year degree or certificate program;
  • have successfully completed one semester of study;
  • have a 2.8 GPA; and
  • are enrolled in one of the following associate degree or certificate programs: Welding Technology, Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration Technology, or Engineering Technologies.

If the recipient’s GPA drops below 2.8 after any semester or the recipient changes their program of study, the American Gas Association Scholarship will be revoked. Recipients of the American Gas Association Scholarship must maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA to retain their scholarship.
