James Moses and Stella Frosst Alexander Endowed Merit Scholarship

The James Moses and Stella Frosst Alexander Endowed Merit Scholarship is available to Central Piedmont students in the college transfer program who must have made a high academic standing (at least a B average or 3.0 GPA) in his or her high school or preparatory school, must be well adjusted and have demonstrated leadership qualities in school, church or community, must have the ability to get along with his or her peers, must have high moral standards and a good character, and extra-curricula activities will also be evaluated. In honor of Dr. James Moses Alexander and his wife, Stella Frosst Alexander, this scholarship program was established in 1990. Dr. James M. Alexander was chairman of the Central Piedmont Foundation Board of Directors until 1989.
