Our Opportunities

You must complete the General Scholarship Application to be considered for a Foundation Scholarship in the 2025-26 academic year. If you already submitted an application for 2025-26, you may update any information on your application that has changed.

Note the following important dates:

  • March 17, 2025 – scholarship portal opens for 2025-26 scholarships
  • August 31, 2025 – application deadline for 2025-26 academic year (Fall ’25, Spring ’26 & Summer ’26) and Fall ’25 scholarships
  • February 15, 2026 – application deadline for new students starting in Spring ’26 and for students who did not submit an application by August 31, 2025 who want to be considered for Spring ’26 and Summer ’26 scholarships

Your application is active from the moment you start until all opportunities close at the end of the cycle and can be updated throughout that time. You can save your application at any time by clicking Save and Keep Editing at the bottom of the form. Once completed, you can submit your application by clicking Finish and Submit. Once you submit, you will automatically be considered for all auto-match opportunities for which you meet the scholarship criteria.

After submitting your General Application, please check your Recommended Opportunities for additional scholarships you may be eligible for. Your scholarship application will remain on file throughout the academic year. Incomplete or unsubmitted applications will not be considered for a scholarship.

Employees of the college are not eligible to apply for Foundation scholarships unless they were already enrolled as students before being hired into a part-time position (such as work-study or NextGen roles). Students who seek part-time employment while enrolled may retain both their scholarship and employment as long as they remain in good standing. The college reserves the right to disqualify any employee of Central Piedmont from scholarship eligibility if awarding the scholarship would conflict with the Employee Code of Conduct or any other policies.

Unless otherwise noted, scholarships provide a credit for tuition, tuition fees, and books with awards applied first to tuition and tuition fees for the specified term. Scholarship awards apply to credit courses only. Unused scholarship funds will not be refunded to the student. If a student is continuing for another term and would like the unused funds to be applied to that next term, they should contact the Central Piedmont Community College Financial Aid at scholarships@cpcc.edu.
