Charles Fonville Endowed Scholarship

The Charles Fonville Endowed Scholarship was established in 2008 by Mr. Charles L. Fonville.

This scholarship is available to the following students:

• Financial Need as demonstrated by FAFSA application process
• Minimum GPA 2.5
• Is graduating or recently graduated from a Charlotte Mecklenburg High School
• Are between the ages of 18 and 22

Applicants must submit a 500-word essay detailing your reasons for applying for the scholarship and its importance to your educational and career goals and talking about their high school achievements and record in community service and civic involvement. Preference will be given to Mecklenburg County natives and/or students who are of strong character as demonstrated through community service and civic involvement.
This scholarship is renewable if the applicant still meets the above requirements.

Scholarships can be used for tuition, required fees, e-text fees, and textbooks, if required, unless otherwise noted.
