F. Kenneth (Ken) Iverson Endowed Scholarship (Cato)

The Cato-F. Kenneth (Ken) Iverson Endowed Scholarship is available to Central Piedmont students in any associate degree, diploma, or certificate program who have financial need. Preference will be given to students who have worked for pay, are working for pay, or who have worked or are working without pay in community service.

In honor of F. Kenneth (Ken) Iverson (born 1925), who was a member of the Board of Directors of The Cato Corporation from 1975-1989, this scholarship program was established in 1999.

The Cato-F. Kenneth (Ken) Iverson Endowed Scholarship was established in 1999 by The Cato Corporation in honor of F. Kenneth (Ken) Iverson, a member of the Board of Directors of The Cato Corporation. This scholarship is available to the following students:

  • Financial Need as demonstrated by FAFSA application process
  • Enrolled in any associate degree, diploma, or certificate program

Priority consideration will be given to students who have volunteered or worked for pay.

This scholarship is renewable if the applicant still meets the above requirements.

Scholarships can be used for tuition, required fees, e-text fees, and textbooks, if required, unless otherwise noted.
