Trailblazer Scholarship

The Trailblazer Scholarship assists students in becoming the first in their family to earn a college degree. This scholarship addresses the unmet needs that many first-generation individuals and families experience when attempting to find affordable, quality college options.
Second generation college graduates, Benjamin Mohler and his wife Christina, witnessed first-hand during their upbringing that a college education can have a lasting impact on the lives and future of a family. This scholarship is established in honor of the effort and sacrifice of their parents, Thomas and Martha Mohler and Harold and Susan Taylor.

In awarding the Trailblazer Scholarship, preference shall be given to:
New and current undergraduate student(s) in good academic standing, at the time of awarding and during the term of the award; first generation college student(s); and student(s) with financial need (as determined by FAFSA) (first preference).

This award may be renewed provided student(s) maintain eligibility. At its discretion, the College may use additional criteria, such as academic merit, volunteer service, letters of reference, or an essay, to help prioritize or select recipient(s).

All scholarships require recipients to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. All scholarships must be applied toward tuition, fees and books, unless otherwise defined above.
