Central High School Legacy-Betty G. & Erskine L. Harkey Endowed Scholarship

The Central High School Legacy-Betty G. and Erskine L. Harkey Endowed Scholarship was established in 2002 by the Central High School Class of 1956 in honor of Betty & Erskine Harkey. This scholarship is available to the following students:

• Financial need as demonstrated by FAFSA application process
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Enrolled in any associate degree, diploma, or certificate program
• Graduated from a public high school in Mecklenburg County

This scholarship is renewable if the applicant still meets the above requirements.

Scholarships can be used for tuition, required fees, e-text fees, and textbooks, if required, unless otherwise noted.
