Merancas Technical Careers Scholarship

The Merancas Technical Scholarship was established by The Merancas Foundation to provide scholarship assistance to Central Piedmont students in vocational and technical programs which will lead them directly to a job in their chosen field after completion of the program without transferring or enrolling at a four-year college or university. This scholarship is available to the following students:

• Enrolled in vocational and technical programs which will lead them directly to a job in their chosen field after completion of the program without transferring or enrolling at a four-year college or university (see examples below)
• Students who have not previously received a college degree or who are unemployed and underemployed individuals who are returning to school for technical training to prepare for new careers

Priority consideration will be given to Veterans.

This scholarship is renewable if the applicant still meets the above requirements.

Scholarships can be used for tuition, required fees, e-text fees, and textbooks, if required, unless otherwise noted.
