The Levine Scholarship
This scholarship is intended to remove financial need as a barrier to higher education by providing financial assistance to deserving students at Central Piedmont who have excelled academically.
To be eligible to receive a Levine Scholarship, an applicant must:
- Demonstrate potential for academic success and have a minimum 3.0 GPA;
- Be enrolled a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Have demonstrated financial need
Levine Scholars enrolled on a full-time basis (12 or more credit hours) will receive up to $4,000 per academic year, for a maximum of 2 academic years, to pay for tuition, required fees and textbooks
Levine Scholars enrolled between 6 and 11 credit hours will receive up to $2,000 per academic year, for a maximum of 8 semesters, to pay for tuition, required fees and textbooks.
A Levine Scholar must maintain a minimum 3.0 to retain the scholarship from semester to semester and it is the expectation is that scholarship recipients will have earned their degrees within these respective time spans.
