The Wayland Henry Cato Sr. Endowed Scholarship

The Wayland Henry Cato, Sr. Endowed Scholarship is available to Central Piedmont students in any associate degree, diploma, or certificate program who have financial need. Preference will be given to students who have worked for pay, are working for pay, or who have worked or are working without pay in community service.

In memory of Wayland H. Cato, Sr. (1893-1974), founder of The Cato Corporation and much beloved father and grandfather, this scholarship program was established in 1974.
