Mia Goodwin Memorial Scholarship

The Mia Goodwin Memorial Scholarship will provide one Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) or Criminal Justice student per year with the Mia Goodwin Memorial Scholarship which can be used for any student-related expense. Therefore, should a BLET student be sponsored by a law enforcement agency and have tuition, books, and uniform expenses covered by the sponsoring agency, this scholarship may be paid out directly to the student for other related expenses.

To be considered, the applicant must have a 2.0 GPA and submit a letter of recommendation attesting to their related experience in the field of public safety/law enforcement, character, service, and commitment to advance their education. Applicants must identify as female or have demonstrated support for females in the pursuit of a higher education degree, regardless of the sex of the applicant
