Cato Corporation Endowed Scholarship for Future Teachers

The Cato Corporation Endowed Scholarship for Future Teachers is available to students with financial need in the lateral entry, pre-education, or education 2+2 articulation programs who graduated high school with a minimum 2.5 GPA and are enrolled in at least two courses (six credit hours) and up to four courses (12 credit hours) per semester. Applicants must complete a brief essay regarding their interest in pursuing a teaching career. Applicants must also provide information concerning past academic performance and community service. Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA to retain their financial support.

This scholarship was established in 2006 by the Cato Corporation.
