The Cato-Helen N. Lee Endowed Scholarship

The Cato-Helen N. Lee Endowed Scholarship is available to Central Piedmont students in any associate degree, diploma, or certificate program who have financial need. Preference will be given to students who have worked for pay, are working for pay, or who have worked or are working without pay in community service.

In memory of Helen N. Lee (1914-1996), who was employed by The Cato Corporation from 1977-1986, this scholarship program was established in 1999. Helen Lee’s career with Cato culminated in her position as Chief Store Operations Officer
