Ken Szymanski Scholarship

The Ken Szymanski Scholarship (formerly the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Scholarship) is available annually to two Central Piedmont students who are enrolled in the apartment/rental maintenance certificate program. It is provided by the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA) and is named in honor former GCAA executive director, Ken Szymanski.

To be considered for the Ken Szymanski Scholarship, an applicant must:

1. Complete the Central Piedmont General Scholarship Application
2. Apply To the Ken Szymanski Scholarship and share how you will utilize the Ken Szymanski Scholarship to advance your education toward a career within the apartment industry in 250 words or less
3. Enroll in and declare the apartment/rental certificate program as one of your programs of study
4. Agree to make a genuine effort to seek employment within the Charlotte apartment industry
5. Remain in good standing with Central Piedmont and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
