Christopher A. Matthews Scholarship

The Christopher A. Matthews Scholarship was established to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the substance abuse counseling program at Central Piedmont.

In order to be considered for the Scholarship:
1. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the substance abuse counseling field and must have completed a minimum six credit hours toward their certificate in order to be considered.
2. Candidates must complete and submit Central Piedmont’s scholarship application and FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms.
3. The Christopher A. Matthews Scholarship can be utilized for tuition, books, and fees/materials which are related to the final 18 credit hours required for a certificate in substance abuse counseling.
